One of the most prevalent problems with my first car is rust. My first car was in the best condition than all the other cars in New York, but that doesn’t mean that it didn’t have it’s own fair share of rust.

90% of the underside of the car was covered in rust, which was the most rust covered besides the inside of the hardtop, (meaning the part of the top inside of the car).

There was also rust that had eaten holes through certain areas on the bottom of the passenger and driver sides of the car.

There was also just spot rust on the front and back bumpers, all the fenders, the front and back of the car, and the windshield.

Most of my 2015 summer was spent removing this rust. I worked with my dad on it.

By the end of 2015 we had most of the “first glance”rust removed leaving just the minor holes, underside, and hardtop. The next year we had gotten the underside leaving the minor holes and hard top left.
