With the rust on the underside of the car we had to find a way to protect/cover the bare metal for awhile or forever.

After sanding down the underside we decided to use KBS coating.

This was a kit that would have a coating to last for at least a very, very long time.

It was a 3 step system that you would use KBS Klean first, then KBS Rustblast, and lastly the KBS Coating itself. The KBS Rustblast was acidic, and the KBS Coating would stain whatever it landed on.

The coating was of a black color, but it didn’t really matter so much because nobody spends actual time staring at the underside of a car. The underside was covered including the under parts of all the fenders, making the underside of the car look a million times better than it did before.
