San Diego is located in the southwest corner of California, two hours south from Los Angeles. Known for its beautiful weather year round San Diego's average daily temperature is 70.5 degrees and in December 57 degrees. It is the second biggest City in California, and the seventh largest city in the world. It is the birthplace of California. Seventy miles of beautiful beaches run along the coast of San Diego.
History
San Diego was established on February 18,1850. A European Explorer named Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo discovered San Diego. San Miguel was the original name of San Diego, 60 years later the bay area gave San Diego it new name. From 1821- 1848 Mexico owned this area. The treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo made San Diego US property.
